Choral singing is the most popular form of performing arts participation in the United States, with more than 40 million people singing in choirs. Chorus America is the leading organization for choral music ensembles in North America, providing thought-leadership, resources, and research for this thriving industry.
Chorus America has always produced a robust pool of content, but at the time, it published this content primarily via print. I led efforts to transform the company into a digitally-robust organization. I was a content and UX strategist on the launch of two editorially-rich websites: singernetwork.org in 2008, and chorusamerica.org in 2012. I served as content manager and editor for both of those websites.
In 2012, the site was given an ASCAP Deems Taylor Media Award for outstanding new media coverage of music.
